The Rockefeller Center is a well-known building complex in downtown Manhattan. Those taking the elevator to the 70th floor come out on the observation deck called the Top of the Rock. From here you have a beautiful view. You can also choose a Sky Skate Combination ticket. Because you can do skating along the Rockefeller!

Architect John D. Rockefeller Jr. got a lot of land in 1929, for which he had to design a complex. Originally, it was also intended to build a new opera house for the Metropolitan Opera Company, but because after the stock market crash of 1929, these plans were canceled. The Rockefeller Center eventually became a real city in the city.

The Radio City Music Hall was the largest theater in the world in 1932. The central building of the complex is the high GE Building, including the NBC’s studios, where the well-known program Saturday Night Live was recorded. In Rockefeller Center is also the world’s most famous auction house, Christie’s, located. One of the most recognizable works of art at Rockefeller Plaza is the gilt statue of Prometheus by artist Paul Manship.
